Our staff have been drawn from all corners of the demolition, asbestos and construction industries giving us a wealth of knowledge and experience across a broad range of disciplines and market sectors.
All of our staff hold either CSCS, CCDO and CPCS cards appropriate to their role. As well as this, all staff receive ongoing, industry recognised training including PASMA, IPAF, SSSTS and SMSTS to name but a few. Our Demolition staff hold a mixture of Asbestos Awareness & Non-Licenced Asbestos Removal training, with our Environmental staff holding Licenced Asbestos Removal Training, allowing us to swiftly and safely deal with any suspicious materials encountered during project.
We recognise however that training only represents a small part of what makes somebody competent and therefore operate an ongoing Appraisal and Development programme in order to ensure that our staff are given the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge.
As well as ongoing training and development, we also protect the health of our staff by undertaking regular fit for work medicals, licenced asbestos medicals, hand arm vibration monitoring, RPE face fits & medical questionnaires.
At Blucon we recognise that our staff are the key to our projects being undertaken safely and efficiently and as such it is crucial that they have the correct blend of knowledge, skills and experience in order to ensure this.
