At Blucon Group we recognise that our staff are our most valuable asset and that we have a legal and moral duty to protect them from harm, as well as those affected by our works.
This philosophy is engrained in all levels of the company and is central to our approach to every project we undertake.
All Blucon staff are provided with the most up to date, industry recognised training in order to ensure that they hold the relevant knowledge and skills to be able to undertake their works without risk to their safety, or the safety of those around them.
In addition to protecting the safety of our staff, we also ensure that the health of our staff is not put at risk by undertaking regular fit for work medicals, licenced asbestos medicals, hand arm vibration monitoring & medical questionnaires.
It is our firm belief that everybody has the right to go home safely at the end of each and every working day.
Protecting the Environment
If not properly planned, demolition and associated works can have a detrimental or even damaging effect on the local area as well as the wider environment as a whole.
At Blucon Group we recognise this potential and as a result, we are committed to the continual assessment of the environmental aspects & impacts arising from our works, and to ensuring that these are controlled effectively.
Whether it is noise, vibration, dust, air or water pollution, disturbance of flora & fauna or the creation of waste, at Blucon we ensure that every practicable step is taken in order to fulfil our legal and moral duties to protect the environment.
